Oak & Analytics — Delete Your Account

This page explains how to request deletion of your Oak & Analytics account and the data associated with it. Oak & Analytics is the bourbon discovery and tasting-journal app published by Oak & Analytics; the same process applies whether you installed it from the App Store or Google Play.

Delete directly in the app

The fastest way to delete your account is to do it directly in the app. Open Oak & Analytics, go to your Account screen, select Delete Account, and confirm your choice. Your account and associated data will be deleted immediately.

How to request deletion by email

If you no longer have the app installed, you can request deletion by email:

1. Email customersupport@oakandanalytics.com with the subject line "Delete my account".
2. Send the request from the email address your account is registered under (the one you sign in with, or the Google account you use for sign-in). If that isn't possible, tell us the account email in the message and we may ask a follow-up question to verify it's really you.
3. We will confirm by reply and delete your account and data within 30 days of verifying the request.

What is deleted

• Your sign-in account (email address and authentication identity).
• Your profile information (display name, age attestation).
• Your shelf — every bottle you track.
• All of your tasting notes.
• Your blind-tasting-room participation and hosting records.
• Your Pro subscription entitlement record and usage counters on our servers.

What is kept

• Anonymous crowd contributions. Barcode-to-bottle confirmations, label photos, and community bottle entries you contributed are part of the shared catalog and are not linked to your identity there. They may be retained after your account is deleted.
• Purchase records. Payment and transaction records are held by Apple, Google, and our purchase processor RevenueCat under their own policies; deleting your Oak & Analytics account does not cancel an active subscription — manage subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
• Records we are required to keep by law, if any, for no longer than the law requires.

Deleting data without deleting your account

You can delete individual shelf bottles and tasting notes inside the app at any time — no request needed. If you'd like us to erase specific data (for example, all tasting notes) while keeping the account, say so in your email and we'll do that instead.
